A hotel partnership programme

The Circadian Reset Weekend. Forty-eight hours. One realigned guest.

A single weekend of carefully controlled light, ritual, and rest delivers 69% of a full circadian phase shift. WELL Cômpass translates that science into a turnkey programme for luxury properties — we provide the technology, the branding, and the training; the hotel provides the setting.

The science

The body is not broken. It simply needs the right environment.

In a landmark 2017 study, Wright et al. at the University of Colorado Boulder demonstrated that a single weekend of natural light exposure — no electrical lighting, no electronic devices — achieved 69% of the circadian phase shift previously documented after a full week of equivalent exposure.

The human body responds to light with extraordinary speed when given the right conditions. Forty-eight hours is enough to begin the reset.

The Circadian Reset Weekend is the operational translation of that finding — designed to be delivered inside an existing hotel room, without the guest spending two days in a tent.

The 48-hour protocol

Every signal in the room, calibrated.

01 · Friday · arrival

Calibration

Room lighting shifts to warm amber. Devices are surrendered to a linen pouch on the bedside table. The journal opens. The first signal of the weekend tells the body: it is evening, and it is safe to wind down.

02 · Saturday · sunrise

Reset

A dawn-simulation lamp brings the room from dark to 300 lux across thirty minutes. Cortisol rises naturally. The body learns — within a single morning — what waking was meant to feel like.

03 · Saturday · day

Exposure

Light is the medicine. Guests spend the day outdoors where possible, indoors under daylight-tone lighting where not. Magnesium and botanical rituals anchor the evening. Screens stay off.

04 · Sunday · departure

Carry-home

Guests leave with their blue-light glasses, their journal, and a 7-day post-stay protocol — extending the realignment into the working week and tying the result back to the property.

What ships

A single, coherent delivery.

Permanent technology arrives in a linen-covered onboarding case. Per-booking consumables ship in an ivory pouch with the guest’s name on the band. The supply chain is invisible. The hotel receives one beautiful object, ready to place.

Lighting

  • Tunable circadian bulbs — warm amber by evening, daylight tone on waking
  • Pre-programmed smart timer governing the 48-hour light schedule
  • Sunrise simulation lamp replacing the alarm clock

Blue-light management

  • Blue-light blocking glasses — co-branded case, guest keeps them
  • Device curfew pouch and protocol card for the bedside

Sensory ritual

  • Evening magnesium glycinate sachets
  • Chamomile and ashwagandha botanical tea programme
  • Lavender pulse-point roll-on
  • Two-blend diffuser — energising for morning, calming for evening

The protocol

  • Linen-covered guided journal with sleep diary and intention prompts
  • QR-linked guest portal with the digital protocol and post-stay email sequence
  • Optional sleep-tracking ring with a guest report generated on departure

The package

Considered objects. Recognised on sight.

Every element of the package is designed to be felt before it is read. The supply chain is consolidated at a single fulfilment partner. The hotel receives one coherent delivery — a luxury object, not a logistics problem.

The partnership

We do not operate on site. The hotel never sees the supply chain.

WELL Cômpass provides the technology, the brand, and the training. The property provides the rooms, the setting, and the staff. The system is designed to run inside an existing operation without adding headcount.

01

Onboarding

A single, branded case ships to the property containing all permanent technology. A 90-minute remote training brings the wellness and concierge teams through the science and the room setup. The system is ready inside one week.

02

Operation

Each booking triggers a per-guest pouch — consumables, journal, glasses — shipped from our fulfilment partner directly to the property. Staff place the kit before check-in. We handle the supply chain. The property handles the welcome.

03

Listing

We write and manage the listing copy across Mr & Mrs Smith, Tablet Hotels, Secret Escapes, and an embedded landing page on the property’s direct booking site. The programme appears as a co-branded weekend experience.

What the property gains

A wellness proposition that is built in, not bolted on.

A differentiated weekend offering grounded in peer-reviewed science — credible to the wellness-curious guest and defensible to the GM. Premium room-rate uplift on every booking, and a guest who leaves measurably better than they arrived.

Listings managed by WELL Cômpass across Mr & Mrs Smith, Tablet Hotels, and Secret Escapes — appearing as a wellness experience add-on rather than a new property, reducing adoption friction for hotels already on those platforms.

Pilot cohort: we are onboarding the first ten properties at a reduced programme fee in exchange for case-study participation.

The properties we work with

Independently owned or boutique groups. Fifteen to eighty rooms. Wellness-curious at the leadership level.

You do not need to be spa-led to host this programme. You need a guest profile that values restoration and a leadership team willing to commit a small number of weekends a year to delivering it properly. The rest of the operation we provide.

For property teams

A discovery conversation, not a sales call.

Thirty minutes is usually enough to know whether your property and guest profile are a natural fit for the programme. If they are, we share the full kit specification, the training schedule, and the path to a pilot weekend.
